To the Editor: Arslanian et al. (Aug. 4 issue)1 report that a once-weekly subcutaneous injection of dulaglutide, a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist, at a dose of 0.75 mg or 1.5 mg was superior to placebo in improving blood glucose control in overweight pediatric patients (10 to <18 years of age) with type 2 diabetes. Notably, 40% of the children were under 14 years of age. The average height of the children was 162.4±9.2 cm, which suggests that they had not yet reached their adult height.
