As humans, the second most important resource that we need in order to survive is water. The consumption of liquids is what keeps us alive and our bodies healthy. Because our bodies are 70% made out of water, it’s no wonder why we need to drink so much. It is recommended that we consume around 3 liters of fluids per day in order to live a healthy lifestyle.
However, there is one person who has to drink at least 20 liters in order to see the next day. Marc Wübbenhorst, a German citizen suffers from a very rare disease called diabetes insipidus renalis. In simple terms, this disease causes the kidney to release a lot more water, therefore dehydrating the body much faster.
This is why Marc is forced to almost constantly consume water or any liquids throughout the day. The problem was not the thirst, but the constant feeling of exhaustion as Marc has described in an interview:
This rare disease affects 1 in every 25,000 people, but Marc is the worst case of them all. The consumption of such large amounts of water involves many other issues such as having to go to the bathroom about 50 times a day and not being able to sleep for more than 2 hours in a row before feeling thirsty.
Marc even made it to the famous show named “Body Bizarre” which is aired on TLC. In the episode he appeared, Marc showed an average day of his life.
At the same time, he has to make sure that he does not drink too much water at once as this can his blood sodium levels to drop, which can be fatal. It is a real struggle for Marc to balance his life in such a way that he does not drink too much at once but still drinks enough to calm down the feeling of thirst and exhaustion.

And another planet where you can live to celebrate up to 3,158 birthdaysImage by GooKingSword from Pixabay. Time is the most precious thing that we as humans have, but not enough of it. Due to the way physics work, time moves at a faster or slower pace on different planets. Scientists have discovered a potentially habitable planet 100 light years away from Earth where the average life expectancy would be 3,158 years. This is because time over there moves a lot slower compared to Earth.

This is another photo that is mistaken to be believed that it is the skull of an ancient giant human that once roamed Earth.
Brain Implants are Trendings in the Medical WorldImage by Shafin Al Asad Protic from Pixabay. The biggest issue with patients that are suffering from complete paralysis is their inability to talk or respond, neither verbally nor physically. There have been many technological inventions over the 21st century which have tried to aid those in need, but the accuracy of responses was quite poor. A man whose 2007 spinal cord injury left him immobile from the neck down has demonstrated that he can express his thoughts via a brain implant that converts his imagined writing into text.

The seat with the highest chances of survival in case of a crashImage by Ryan McGuire from Pixabay. What factors are most important to you when deciding where to seat on a plane? Some would choose an aisle so that it is simple to access the restrooms, while others might want a window seat with a view. Additionally, having enough legroom and choosing to sit at the front rather than the rear can also affect comfort. While sitting in the back of an aircraft with rear-mounted engines can be loud, a seat over the wing hides the view. Have you ever considered which seats on an airplane are the safest and which ones would offer you the highest chance of surviving a crash?

Slave Population US year 1860Wikimedia Commons/ Public Domain. Slavery has pretty much brought out the worst in humanity. This was a period of time that brought the worst out of American society, but it also took one great American leader to put an end to the xenophobia that took place during the 17th century. It should be the goal of humanity to be free from any restrictions and to be capable of coming to your own sane conclusions. It is extremely disappointing that it took so long for slavery to be permanently abolished, but we must show Abraham Lincoln respect because he was the one to take the first step in that direction.
Augustins – San Diego de Alcala en extase devant la croix – Murillo – D 1846 1Wikimedia Commons/ Public Domain. Medieval history is full of "wonders of medicine". From eating poisonous plants to sleeping with corpses of saints they would have tried anything, especially during a time when religion was also used as a political system. Since ancient times, it was believed that the remains of saints still hold a lot of power, despite their souls departing their corpses. In fact, they believed it so much that, not only have they mummified their corpses, but got to the extreme where they would place them in the bed of sick royalties in the hopes that a magic healing aura would do a miracle.

A parasite with several eyes and legs was lurking in the open mouth of a fish of the species Micropogonias undulatus (or Atlantic croaker), where its tongue should have been.
Man takes selfie, when the volcano behind him erupts. He made it out alive.Reddit/Damnthatsinteresting. One of the most important aspects of 21st-century culture has become photos. Since the evolution of photography from paintings and portraits, we managed to better embed our experiences and offer more color to life stories. The saying “a picture is worth a thousand words” has the best meaning with this incident as no one would probably believe this if there was no photo to justify it.

Scientists have tracked down a genetic mutation that took place 6,000–10,000 years agoPixabay/Cocoparisienne. Human genetics is particularly fascinating since it determines our physical qualities, which until recently determined one’s rights in this world and, tragically, still do in some regions of the world. However, scientists have shown that individuals with blue eyes may only have one common ancestor, suggesting that all individuals with blue eyes may be connected. Those who hold a more religious view of the human family tree may not be interested in this, but those who believe in science will find it fascinating.

The ultimate way to show power to the worldCuriosmos. The United States has come up with a number of plans to become the dominating force in the globe. In spite of the fact that not all of these recommendations were pursued and carried out by the army, the bulk of them was, and they came in various forms and sizes. Particularly during the Cold War, when Americans faced up against the Red Bear in the East, this was true. As the USSR began to catch up to the US in terms of technology in the 1950s and 1960s, plans were made to show the American people that the US still held the upper hand. When a certain strategy was revealed, it would startle the entire globe.
The twelve men that Jesus called to be his apostles were about as motley a band as ever assembled. A few were so unremarkable that the Bible doesn't even bother to mention their profession, including those who were fishermen and one who was a despised tax collector. During the three years they followed Jesus during his earthly ministry, they continually exhibited an inability to understand even the simplest of parables, fought among themselves over who was the greatest in the group, and ultimately abandoned him at his arrest and crucifixion. By all logic, their actions should have spelled the end of Christianity before it even began.
