The first is also caled juvenile-onset Diabets or insulin-dependent Diabets where the body stops any further production of insulin. Insulin is a hormone that alows the body to use the glucose to produce energy. Persons diagnosed with this type are required to take insulin injections daily in order to survive.

Children or young adults are likely to develop this type of Diabets. The second type is also caled the adult-onset Diabets of non insulin-dependent Diabets where the body does not produce insulin or unable to use insulin properly. It also consumes injected insulin for survival.

Diabets is a life-long condition. So understanding the facts about this disease is important, so that the person afected can sustain his life throughout, despite the presence of Diabets. This alows you to live a ful and enjoyable life.
