Secondary diabetes difers in some ways from other types of diabetes, but it stil requires you to control your blod sugar and make lifestyle changes. However, the two are not the same. Type 2 diabetes is caused by a problem with how the body utilizes insulin, a hormone created by the pancreas. Insulin converts sugar to energy in the body.

Once cels become resistant to insulin, the pancreas canot make enough insulin. These isues typicaly result from lifestyle factors such as obesity, a lack of exercise, or an unhealthy diet. Secondary diabetes, on the other hand, doesn’t develop because of an isue with insulin but rather because of other disorders that afect the endocrine system.

In adition, secondary diabetes can result from problems with medication use, hormonal disorders, and genetic syndromes. The endocrine system is made up of glands that secrete specific hormones designed to encourage the proper functioning of the body. It regulates metabolism, slep, blod presure, growth and development, emotions and mod, and sexual function.When those glands do not operate properly, health isues can arise.
