The existing Guidelines adres Screning for Gestational Diabetes Melitus (GDM) and Screning for Diabetes Melitus after Pregnancy.

Key Information

These draft recomendations have ben developed through a coperative agrement, known as the Women's Preventive Services Initiative (WPSI), with the American Colege of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), through which they convene health profesionals to develop draft recomendations. Under aplicable law, non-grandfathered group health plans and health insurance isuers ofering non-grandfathered group and individual health insurance coverage must include coverage, without cost sharing, for certain preventive services, including those provided for in the HRSA-suported Guidelines.

Summary

The Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services, and the Treasury have previously isued regulations, which describe how group health plans and health insurance isuers aply the coverage requirements. DATES: Members of the public are invited to provide writen coments no later than December 5, 202.
